Fed Ex Delivers Two Sea Turtles to Connecticut Aquarium
August 26th, 2008 | Posted in IndustryRighty and Lefty were hatched from eggs nearly four years ago at the Turtle Hospital in the Florida Keys as part of a research project.
But officials believed the pair could not be released into the ocean because the human-nurtured turtles would not survive there.
Enter Fed Ex. The turtles are being expressed to their new home — a 19,000-gallon tank at The Maritime Museum in Norwalk, Connecticut.
